PAD raise money for ABS

‘Our values & work are steered by a strong ethical compass’ – manifesto #9

Over August this year two of the PAD studio team, Ben & Ricky, have decided to take on the gruelling ‘Lanes End to John O’Groats’ bike ride, raising funds in aid of The Architects Benevolent Society (ABS). The boys have predicted they can complete this epic tour in just twelve days, cycling nearly 1,000 miles across the whole length of Great Britain.

This challenge appropriately fits with the valuable work the charity does. This year their theme is #AnxietyArch, raising awareness and supporting those in the industry tackling mental health issues. We all recognise the personal and professional demands we can face, and having experienced our own struggles, we are keen to assist others in need.

The Architects Benevolent Society is dedicated to helping architects, assistants, technologists, technicians, landscape architects - and their families – in times of need. They help people of all ages who have experienced illness, accident, redundancy, unemployment, bereavement or other personal difficulties.
