Hopefully illustrated in our manifesto and our work, is the value we place in the Process and Narrative of architecture; using this to inform our design responses and understanding of landscape.
All our projects start with drawings and readings of context and landscape, whether this be urban or otherwise. We believe our approach to architectural process helps us to avoid developing a 'style', in favour of buildings directly influenced by their social, environmental and economic context.
We develop our projects using a range of media, from traditional representational techniques such as drawings and physical models, to computer modelling and realistic visualisations. The sketches above were taken from a recent study for a new house on the coast in Hampshire, see link - http://www.padstudio.co.uk/architecture-projects/residential-architecture/the-brandy-hole/
